  ⚘ I n my experience making crochet glasses holders, the main issue I found myself running into was how flimsy the holders were (specifically the side rims). I needed my holders to be sturdy & protective, so I've written down my process of making these cases more durable! ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ₊˚⊹♡ NOTE: I alternate where my increase stitches are as I work along the curve part of the oval base to give a smoother curve appearance. For example instead of (1sc, inc) → (2sc, inc ) → (3sc, inc) → (4sc, inc ) for consecutive rows, I do (1sc, inc) → ( inc , 2sc) → (3sc, inc) → ( inc , 4sc) Either way works just as fine! For the pattern, I'll keep it the traditional way, but know that you have the option to alternate your increase stitches if you like the look of a smoother curve.
